Complex relative permeability
Product with a thickness of 10μm is the most suitable for high-frequency applications. However, it is also possible to increase the magnetic shielding effect by the foil thickness, so the thickness can be selected according to the intensity of the adaptive magnetic field.
For frequency bands below 150kHz, PC2S products with thicknesses of 50μm and 30μm for high sensitivity are recommended.

Magnetic shield performance at high frequencies
It shows a high shield property unlike aluminum (non-magnetic) at 1MHz. It also functions as an electromagnetic wave shield even at high frequencies.
We provide the magnetic shield and yoke material in 10kHz ~ 10MHz band.
STARPAS®-PC2S is suitable for strong magnetic field applications.
Magnetic shield performance depending on magnetic field strength
STARPAS®-PC2S shows high shield performance in a weak magnetic field. STARPAS®-DF42N maintains high shield performance in strong magnetic field.
